Cold engine cutting out

Hi all, Just bought a 2004 facelift 1.8 Flander. It starts when cold but sometimes when I try to drive off its cuts out after a few seconds/minutes. It has new plugs, leads & the coil packs are OK.

It ticks over eratically between 700 & 900 revs. Its Ok when its warm. Any suggestions?
