Got into the freelander on Sat morning - pushed in clutch and pedal went straight to floor with a thud !!
Had a look and found that the plastic flange on the slave, where it fits into bracket had snapped !!!
Not being one to panic, I refitted the slave - every time I push the clutch the slave flys out the bracket sideways !!!
Ordered a new slave / Master thingy and then went out and again re-fitted slave - this time I held it in place using a number of cable ties to hold it into the bracket to stop it moving sideways.
Clutch now feels better than it has ever done !!!!!! (until the ties break !!!)
Think when I fit the new one, ill add a cable tie to stop ant sideways movement and for extra piece of mind !!
