After 4 days of owning my freelander 2 I have the fear. 150k on the clock. Manual. And the clutch appears to be slipping. Am I doomed already? Rather than deliver power it’s slipping.

Is this the start of the end and new clutch required?

But replacing the clutch is costly no? Dual mass fly wheel an all that?

Yes it's pretty costly to replace a clutch on the Freelander. A premium vehicle when new, still comes with premium maintenance costs, even if the vehicle price has reduced to budget vehicle prices.

Magic. Might jus my punt it

Bit the bullet. Car goes in next week. New clutch and DMF being fitted. £735 all in. Cheapest I could find. Sometimes wish I was more mechanically minded.
