Clutch Slave cylinder wrong thread

Just went to change my slave cylinder on my '89 200tdi with one bought from paddocks to find the new cylinder has courser threads so my pipe won't fit.

Are there 2 types as the diesels all look the same on the paddock site? Or do I need to make a different pipe up? The damper has the same threads as my original slave.

Annoyingly the 200 uses imperial, the 300 metric.

Have you got FTC5202? I think you need FTC5072!

Hopefully JM will confirm, but I'm sure 5072 is the imperial...

I'm not sure if my threads are imperial or metric.

The original slave has really fine threads and the replacement course threads but a slightly smaller hole.

The paddock invoice states TKC2786L. Maybe write part no. but wrong cylinder?
