clutch qs

so I had a new clutch fitted to my 200 disco.initialy it was fine but the other day the pedal went to the floor,but came bk after I turned the motor off and bk on again,but now the clutch is really really really noisy when you dip the clutch.. when you release the clutch the noise goes,so im guessing its the release bearing ive since found out its a ****part clutch..

the noise is that bad I don't think I can live with it as it is as its that noisy..
anything else it could be ??

release fork twisted forcing bearing to wear..

common

on am old trackrod end there is a cup,take that cup and weld it to the back of the new clutch fork so it stays square..

then refit with a decent timken bearing ...

the clutch also judders at low speed in reverse and forward..

I didn't know it was a ****part clutch as it was supplied and fitted by others

also at the time of new clutch I had new transfer box and replaced lt77 box with an r380 box

if your stupid enough to pay for work like that then take it back and tell em to send the parts back for refund.....

why is it stooped to pay to have a new clutch,transfer box and gearbox fitted when there all fcuked

never trust others

source parts yerself at trade cost if your clever and do the work yerself,
that way the bolts are greased where required and loctited , the parts are correct and it will save you £0000s..............

normally I would but time was against me,and if I bought the parts and had "others" fit them I wouldn't have a come bk if it went wrong.. by "others" supplying and fitting everything its down to them..

anyway im not worrying about that that at the mo the original qs was about the noise

is it noisy with pedal fully depressed if it is, it probably is thrust bearing

yeh when you dip the pedal its really really noisy but disappears when u let clutch up

Do you sit at the lights in gear with the clutch depressed? That could cause it to go.

in gear or out of gear its the same

ive had trouble with britpart release bearings in the past ,the centre thrust ring can slip to one side and catch

i think you know you got to take it back.

Get it sorted with a non **** part item.
