Howdy Folks

Bertie (SIII, 88") has been sitting outside for over not really moved much due to family issues then covid mess.
Jumped in today to try and get it going again.... got her started, went to put into gear, clutch all the way to floor and not coming back up again.
Can engage gears but no drive and clutch on the floor.
Think I can hear the thrust bearing spin.

Any ideas folks?

Regards

Craig

Try pulling the clutch pedal up, if that allows drive then it could be a sticking master/ Slave cylinder,
I’m assuming you can go through the gears with the engine running? If you can then the clutch has released, if you put her in gear and pull up the clutch pedal and she moves then it’s likely hydraulic,

ok, left it overnight, now won't go into gear (unless you sync the revs and bump it in).... pedal all the way to the floor still.
I thinking along the lines of what Europa said, dodgy master/slave... will have to strip it down and have a looksie.
Clutch oil is still at the same level when take the cap off.
