Hi, MOT time is coming up and the dreaded ABS light is still on, can anyone tell me the closest place I can take my Disco to get it hooked up to a diagnostics machine? Cheers.

biggest cause of abs light staying on is caused by the sensors on the wheels a build up of rusty crap on the disc, causing the sensor not to make contact,

just taken out all the sensors cleaned em and thier surrounds and refitted em - Nothing - there was a bit of green corrosion around them especially on the back ones which i thought could be the problem but no, unless i just didnt do a good enough job, i was pretty thorough though.
The thing that concerns me however is that when i switch on the ignition the ABS light PERMENANTLY stays on as opposed to switching on for approx 2 secs, blinking out and then in my case it should come back on or stay off if the problem is sorted according to the Haynes and most of you guys on this forum.
Looks like i'll have to continue driving around with the ABS fuse removed for now.
Anyone know where my closest diagnostics is? Cheers. (N reg 1996 Discovery V8i) I suppose if i could at least pinpoint the fault it will be easier to fix then just randomly trying to fix everything ABS related.
Just thought i would mention my ABS light has always permenantly stayed on since i bought the car about a year ago, its never blinked off like its supposed to.
