Tie rod repair kit D3

Hi all has anyone used or fitted a D3 tie rod repair kit, lr010669/70 mot time only issue I can see is play in rack end, how easy is this kit to fit? Do you need to remove the rack to do so? Can anyone give me a quick heads up on how they did it

I have this tool and is very good for inner tie rods.
I bought it from a different seller.

I didn't need anything more than a large adjustable spanner to replace the tie rods. I replaced the whole lot, tie rods, TREs and boots, all genuine LR parts.
You'll need some brake cleaner and red thread lock compound on the threads, otherwise it's a relatively easy job. Obviously you'll need the tracking done afterwards.
