Clonk from front on TD5 ES

Occasionally when I go over a full-width speed hump I get a slight clonk from the front of my TD5 ES Disco. It never happens when just one side goes over a bump / hump.

Could this be some play in the ACE that is taken up when the axle is tilted?
 
Probably the bushes in your anti-roll bar, cheap and easy to fix. You can use the standard replacement bushes or for a bit more dosh 'poly' bushes which will last longer but give a stiffer ride. If the bushes are badly worn you should be able to rattle the bar by hand.
