firstly, my apologies for using the 'C' word on a land rover forum, but I tarted up the old disco last week, t cut every panel and polished it up for winter (even the roof) the difference was phenomenal. I don't think its ever been done before; took me nine hours straight. But what's letting her down now is the headlining and the panelling inside particularly in the boot. None of my car cleaning products (varieties and variations of autoglym, hot soapy water, petrol and a rag etc) will to touch the ingrained age and neglect stains on the panelling, so what works?

Try some Autosmart G101.

Here is a thread on a detailing forum on using it to clean the head lining on a manky Astra

Its really good stuff, I got 5litres off the Autosmart rep for £12 and it lasts ages as you dilute it down to 10:1 normally but can be used neat if required

Dilute that G101 50:50 and put in a trigger spray and spray it on then scrub it with small stiff brush that will get it clean.

A friend of mine saw a company recently at the NEC selling a new range of car cleaning products, he bought the polish and reckons its the mutts nuts. I wonder what their interior cleaner is like?

This is the website Automotive Cleaning Products | CödeClean, Car Cleaning
