Hey guys and girls,

Last week I picked up my first Range Rover Vogue! Here it is:

Since this is my first I don't know that much about this particular car. Why make this thread? Just because I want to make sure this car returns to its former glory and when I will want to sell it this will act nicely as a journal giving the next owner piece of mind. Here is some data which I will continue to update:

Engine: 3.0L Straight Six Diesel BMW getting about 28 mpg.
Paintcode: (?) Coming soon!
Interior: (?) Coming soon!

Car has gone through a facelift in its life done by Clarks Premier Bespoke.

? Range Rover Upgrade Specialists ? Defender Upgrade Specialists ? Custom Upgrades

I've been assured that all the parts on the car used for the conversion are original parts. It looks good.

Here is a list of mods that will feature on the car:

- New head unit with satellite navigation,
- Reverse camera, connecting the original front cameras that I discovered yesterday while cleaning,
- Interior update with all LED lighting conversion including footwells, visors, reading lights etc.
- Piano black wrap on the interior pieces surrounding the vents, controls, gear stick,
- If I'm brave enough I will change all the green dashboard lighting to white ,
- Fit headrests with inbuilt screens to install either XBOX or Playstation - alternatively get the dome screen which would hang from the ceiling,
- New private registration plate,
- Change full beam to HID,
- Change fog lights from yellow to white light,
- Wrap the mirrors in piano black,
- Full body polish, minor touch ups,
- Full mad valet is coming soon on video will probably take 2 days to do if not more!
- Buy some carpet mats for the summer keep the rubber ones for the winter,

Fixes and tidy-ups:

- Front seats restore - the car has covered roughly 100k miles in it's life and the drivers seat is a little bit tired. Since I'm a hobbyist detailer I will work on the seats giving them a full clean with Autoglym and Meguiars product selection as well as using 'dye' which I found here:

Range Rover Leather Dye - www.carleatherdye.co.uk

I will post some pictures before and after.

- The passenger central locking is not very reliable sometimes opens but most of the time you have to manually open it,
- Electric Steering rake/rack moves up and down but not backwards and forwards and it has a slight play up and down which is a MOT failure so will have to address that ASAP too,
- Electric folding mirrors seem to be malfunctioning too when I press the button the drivers side mirror folds and the motor continues to make noise, passenger mirror just makes the noise - no fold. This will be some precise restoration job.
- The descent switch next to low range switch has been snapped off so I will look for a replacement although I might need to get a whole surround,
- Rear wiper works although there is no screen wash coming through - needs investigation,
- I sometimes get the message "TRANSFERBOX NEUTRAL" which points me back to the common fault with the diff so will have to have a look at that change the filters, clean the connections etc.
- Pixel display fix since some of the lines are gone.

I got few car diagnostic computers although they are not dealing with the RR so great so will have to use BMW hybrid scan to tie the loose ends.

So here is where my journey starts!
