Classic engine swap manual / auto gearbox

Hi all,
I have 2 x classics. 1 is rotten, but with a lovely engine (auto box) the other is not rotten, but the engine is mullered (manual box). The engines are both the same, but obviously one is auto and the other is manual box. My question is, will the engine go straight in?

engines will swap but its everything else if you want to swap boxes. can be done but its a lot of work.

yes, but you'll have to swap flywheel etc.

I only want to swap engines. So only the flywheel will need changing? Correct?

used to fit a good few rrc bodies on to disco rolling chassis as an easyish way of dieseling rrc

yes and you'll need the spigot bush as well. old one comes out with grease and a drift.
