Cigar lighter too big!

I have a 1998 Defender 90 and cannot use the cigar lighter socket for powering anything as its bigger than a normal car lighter socket and most connecters are designed for cars - is there a connecter on the market that will convert the landy down to a normal car cigarette lighter size please?
