I think they look better with them on. Use some galvanic corrosion inhibitor on the bolts though, as mine have reacted already and they haven't been on that long. I have the premium ones from Paddocks and the paint has already come off.

What I think looks awful is when no thought has been put into it...like this. With black arches at least make the plate black in this case (with white wheels the matching plate to wheels thing is out of the window clearly). This piece just looks very lonely and plain wierd.

I also hate the quarter chequer that goes halfway up the vehicle, particularly quarter panels on a 110, like this...

You just need to plan stuff before you start bolting it on willy nilly. I might be a bit OCD but when there's a theme and stuff matches the end result just looks much better IMHO. Same inside the vehicle too...posted on another thread but here's my Raptor dash...blue CB, blue stereo, blue gauges (ignore readings as senders weren't wired in at the time), blue LEDs on the upper rocker switches, upper 20mm switch style chosen to match the two lower ones which came with the seat heaters), USB and 12v sockets from the same manufacturer.

OCD, moi?

Bang on, things should match otherwise it just looks off and wrong. I've been going over mine replacing the ****ty old bolts with nice black ones so everything blends better.

My 90 is black, I have put black chequer plate on bonnet and wing tops, don't see the point in putting more on anywhere else, otherwise where do you draw the line and say enough is enough!

Oh, forgot to mention a little plate around filler cap as well, just to tidy up that part.

Cheers, it's kept me quiet for the last year of spare weekends and evenings. Few more odd jobs to do (there always is) might be looking for a new project soon.. maybe a series to fix up.
Its a credit to you mate. Well done. Don't know if I could be bothered with a series to be honest.

I have it on mine and would say get the thick stuff as the cheap thin stuff still bends, the abuse you can dish out to them is amazing.
The bonnet is the hardest to protect from people standing on it.
