Don't....you'll bugger it up, it'll leak and all yer coolant will leak out.....
and yer horn won't work
fit a larger diameter expansion tank tube, feed wire through there and use some high temp silicone to fix a mount to the tank cap, suspend it from there and then the other end of the wire can come out of the rad hose joint under some high temp silicone and a good jubilee the standard series one wont be heard too well over the V8 once its in would move the old horn closer to the bulkhead (near the heater inlet) so I can hear it on low coolant I has planned this out to a halfwit level

Maybe you should fit an eejit light to tell you when yer eejit light is flashing
