I am thinking of the snow that has arrived.

I have a set of xcls, but they are a bit worn.

Dont' really want to faff with snow chains.

Saw this on ebay, item number: 281052662379

Have no idea what it is - has anyone bought / dealt with this seller before or got an idea what they are selling?

Cheers as always.

If his claims were true, he'd be a millionaire and we'd all know what it is ...

I guess snakeoil .. ;)

WTF

do people fall for this sh*t??

Hi I'm selling nothing - give me £5 for an e-mail containing information you will already know??

Let us know how that works out for you

Well, from the replies I won't be spending a fiver, so I'll let someone else shell out and see what it is.

As someone pointed out, if it was good, we'd probably all know about it already, or maybe be able to buy it from our landy shops.

Think I'll get the xcls off the rims and put some winter tyres on the rims. highlift and I can change all wheels pretty quickly.

I did enjoy the video though. Looks like some seroius type of vehicle there - puts my disco in its place.

The title says unimog, but it's not like one I've ever seen.

cheers all

Or you could always waste your money on this nonsense

Spray On Tyre Chain

Yup, Ive seen that. Biggest pile of crock I reckon (have never tested it to be fair). I carry sand instead - much cheaper. There is a youtube video of that spray stuff; a before and after shot and a lot of comments left stating that the before shot was taken with the hand brake on just to show the fromt wheel drive car spinning its wheels and the after shot with the "spray", they just released the handbrake !

yep, just clicked on the link and the actual 'fake' video is on their website !

Amazing how some people don't even know how to use second gear to stop spining or to reverse up slopes if frony wheel driven cars.

But that website screams scam in my opinion.

I love the bit on their website that says "The product increases the grip of the tyre on very cold surfaces in particular way on ice and on very dry snow, a good operation is not guaranteed on surfaces with wet snow!"

Doesn't work on "wet snow" ? wtf - snow is frozen water - it's always wet! lol

I have xcls anything you can do is worth it!!

Xcls I snow is fun!!

I even fitted fwh to my 90 for some Detroit locker rear end fun on xl tyres Same as xcl but taller 900x16
