Cheap DSE power chip

I thought about getting one of these for mine.
It wont be long before you get plent of advice on this subject, I can only tell you the road I went down.
I didn't like the idea of messing around and getting too near the ECU with a soldering iron (I'm not that good in my opinion) and the hole thing ending in tears!:confused:
I bought a plug power box from "Diesel Bob's" it was a few quid more than the chip your looking at but you can remove it (if needed) and it only takes about 10 mins to fit....:D

But u could get a spare ecu off evil bay, then have 2 ecu's
 
But your spare ECU may well not talk to the BECM without intervention. The low price will leave you some cash towards a recon gearbox if you have an auto:rolleyes: I have a powerbox I'm not using for post 99 EGR, PM me if you are interested.

I thought they was plug and play jobs, scampered that plan, although to be fair I'm not really that interested in power gains, if I wanna go fast is of bought a sports car, an I rarely tow anything
