The chassis won't come painted from marsland. I've been looking into painting my galv chassis and was told that powder coating would be the most durable solution, but it would be expensive to do. You'll have to ask about the towbar, A marsland chassis Is pretty much a tdci chassis but with the correct fittings for the model

you will need a td5 hitch as has been said before. Powder coat chips and traps water and will rust your galvanzied chassis.... called white rust

It's like Mechanno :) Galv chassis is £1045, brake pipes and suspension bushes probably aren't that much so your looking at around £1400 labour I would say. Though as others have said there are at least a few years left in your chassis if you take it to someone who has the skills to patch it up.

£1040 + Delivery + VAT = £1500 ish to your door.

One of the MOD disposal places had some new never used chassis for sale at 450 each............places buy them and get them galvanized is about 400 or so.

Which MOD Place? Im in the market for a chassis and a Genuine LR chassis from MOD for £450 sounds like a good deal....?

New chassis , brake pipes , suspension bushes as req’d and Labour £2595.00
Is this a good price?

£1500 for Chassis
£200 on parts
= £895 Labour

at £40 and hour that's 22 hours which is just shy of 3 days?

I dont think thats Massively over priced.

However, I do think it looks repairable and therefore you need not spend out the money on the chassis. I would get a decent local welder to stick Pressbrake's Xmember on and come back to it in 3 years after you've saved up some pennies for a new chassis.

Update
Car is getting ready for swap! Will post pictures..
Do i have to inform the DVLA of the new chassis? Does it mean the car is now a 13 plate? As what defines a cars age... the chassis?
