Chassis problem

I don't know any where local, however even if i did want to move it ideally it would be someone on this forum who is near by as moving this is going to be a problem!
 
New chassis , brake pipes , suspension bushes as req’d and Labour £2595.00
Is this a good price?

It's like Mechanno :) Galv chassis is £1045, brake pipes and suspension bushes probably aren't that much so your looking at around £1400 labour I would say. Though as others have said there are at least a few years left in your chassis if you take it to someone who has the skills to patch it up.

Make damn sure it is a richards chassis, there's is thicker than anyone else. Richards are in the 1100-1200 quid price.The others out there buy excess defender chassis and get then galvanized.

One of the MOD disposal places had some new never used chassis for sale at 450 each............places buy them and get them galvanized is about 400 or so.

Genuine chassis are a LOT stronger than Richards chassis, in the high stress area the lr item is double skinned to 5.5mm
Wouldnt want a painted one thats been galved though
