Chassis paint quantity

Been reading around here there and everywhere regarding paint/waxoil etc.

Decided to coat my chassis with POR 15 1st followed by chassis black paint with Waxoil to be squirted inside (mixed with a little engine oil).

Anyway, How much would one need to fully coat a 90 chassis?

i painted mine by hand having cleaned it, coated with hammerite rust converter primed with red oxide and topped with nuspeed repaint used about litre of topcoat and litre of primer

A litre of each? That doesnt sound much, but keeps the £££ down! Cheers Jim. How many coats of each did you apply? just the 1 I assume as its only 1litre.

got two coats from the top coat and one thick coat from the primer, do you know a chap called chris from banwell who owns a 90
my chassis is now post office red by the way

It will look really nice! BUT exterior rust is nothing compared to what you cant see!!!.......suggest hosing out

every orifice /drying/& spraying a very thin [non viscous] rust inhibitor [eg: Dinitrol] that will soak into the rust that WILL be there but you cannotsee!..any other suggestions???
