I"m a bit confused. I want to buy a new Brake Switch but the part numbers start:
YA999999
1A326956
1A326957
I"ve looked at my chassis number and it starts with 13A288234. So does this mean I order a part under the number 1A326957 which corresponds with Part Number XKB500120.

2003 Freelander TD4 AUTO.

Your chassis number is after the change point, so the latest spec switch is what you need.
