hiya guys.

ive been going over my freelander to plan works what i would like to do to keep it maintained and reliable.

i dont know when the belts were changed last, i searched and it seems to be 1 big belt where other searches 3 belts.

i had a quick look under the bonnet and it looks a real s*** of a job.

does anyone changed one of these please and is there 3 or 1 belt please

i have a 2002 TD4 auto

i cannot get microcat to work on my computer running vista

many thanks

gary

think you will find its one big belt was on mine but our commercial dose not have a/c and its not a bad job to do its just the last bit of pushing the bottom pulley all the way forward to get the belt on

ive also got a td4 auto(late '02), its 2 belts if you have air-con, one for the powersteering, alternator, cooling etc., and a smaller one for the air-con.

the aux. belt is self tensioning, the air-con belt you have to tension your self, there a doddle to do, took me about 45mins:D
