Hi all,

Bit of a unusual question....seriously considering changing my interior seats to a set of cream leather ones (don't ask why, always wanted the cream leather.... Yes I should of bought one with it 5 years ago!)

Car is a 2002 in Java black with dark grey leather, with matching door cards/dash.

Thoughts on just changing the seats to cream ones.....will it look silly or contrast OK with everything else staying grey ?
I've figured changing the seats AND door cards to cream will look silly with the grey dash and centre console staying the same and also more work to change it.

I've Had a search online for pictures, but can't find anything. Has anyone done something similar??

Cheers!

I've seen some spec'd with cream dash and door cards but with the very nice Oxford green seats with cream piping, my personal favourite as I don't liked the look of aged cream, particularly the drivers seat.
The Ox. seats may even be higher grade leather than the rest.

Grey seats were quite common on the lesser HSE, and pre-05 (I think) the seats themselves were not the full 100milion way adjustable.
I could be wrong.

Point is, your thoughts seem fine to me.

Worst case, you've got the seats you want and you can then decide to change maybe the dash to cream, or the cards....or both.

Centre console?

I personally think it will become a Forth road bridge job. You'll start with the sets, realise, it needs the door cards, do the door cards, realise, you need the carpets, do the carpets and the dash will bug you.
Maybe just refresh your leather?

Yes I take your point, irritating thing is there is nothing wrong with my seats APART FROM THE COLOUR!! :p (all leccies/heated/ bells and whistles work) with minimal wear on the driver's seat, it's better than most I see for sale. But it has been cherished

What on earth would you want them for Keith?! Didn't think you liked the L322 seats - too firm and not a fan of the leather..... correct me if I'm wrong?
