Hi All,
I am thinking of changing fuel filter before changing the fuel pump as I was stucked before on highway when there were only 1/4 of fuel in the tank. The mechanic said its the fuel pump.
Looked up in RAVE said there are two filter inside the fuel pump; one is coarse mesh fuel filter and the other one is fine mesh fuel filter which is serviceable.
I was just wondering whether anyone has a actual photo of the fuel pump opened. I want to see where exactly the filters are and how do I service the fine mesh filter? Do I need special tools to unlock the fuel pump from the tank? Well RAVE said I do but maybe someone knows how to undo it without any special tool. Cheers.
