Central locking

Ok had a look through the forum didnt see this anywhere else -its a bit strange....

1. The rear locks (including boot) open close fine on the fob - passenger and drivers dont do anything...

2. I can open and lock the rear, boot and drivers on the key (front passenger stays put)

3. when I pull up or push down the front passenger lock from inside the rear doors lock and unlock...

So it all amosts works!!!

Any suggestions?

Drivers door lock electricals would be my guess....sounds like the lock motor maybe shagged out.....

^^^^ What Saint said. I had the same problem. Caused by an old version of the RF receiver constantly sending signals to the BeCAM causing the motors to burn out. Change the RF receiver before changing the door locks or you will need more new locks shortly.

Hi have had similar problem to this which all started with engine imobilised,after few diagnostic checks and advice both on here and elsewhere i purchased sync mate, which solved the immobiliser problems but things didn't end there, had couple battery drains and lights coming on for no reason,then front drivers door stopped working on fob.decided to purchase new r/f unit which i was led to believe was straight forward plug and play. however after puchasing r/f from island 4x4 which i found was best price. my problems started. without going in to long story,r/f was faulty. had to return for refund and had to pay for replacement to be sent out after other problems and diagnostics, two new front door mechs, found second r/f to be partially faulty ie: would only work if fob really close to the r/f. now returned to island and awaiting refunds now for both units. motor is now running on old r/f with blue wire disconnected. and so far i have had no further problems and hopefully when i have received refunds i will then purchase a further new r/f unit.:amen:
