central locking problum

Hi cah anyone help with my central locking it locks and unlocks all doors apart from drivers door i after use the key to unlock drivers door but it locks with the fob dont understand why it does not open with fob remote is there anything i need to do many thanks

I had a similiar problem and was content to continue using the key to unlock the drivers door.
This all came to an end when the door key mechanism sheared off.when I was miles from home.Pain in the backside having to climb in via the front passenger seat.It was that or leave the doors open.
Needlless to say not only a new door mechanism, but a new exterior drivers door handle.
The latter only obtainable from the main dealer,with vehicle vin no etc.
I should have bitten the bullet earliar and saved myself a couple of bob.

There are two electrical actuators within the lock, the unlock actuator has failed so time for a replacement lock, do it soon as if the lock fails in 'dead lock' then you do have a problem.

I had a similar problem got a new key fob for Lr but it was also the door lock needing adjusted. Just removed the door card and loosened the bolts for the lock and slid it over a bit. A bit of playing but works now. Hope its that simple.

Common fault with discoverys I have the same fault with my rear doors
So it not something I need to to do at the moment
But replacement is the only fix

not necessarily if you are handy and determined enough Door lock actuator Rebuilt - Land Rover Forums : Land Rover and Range Rover Forum
the internals are all the same regardless of the lock's position
