Ive tried a search but couldn't find anything to help.

I use the large button on the fob to open the drivers door if pressed once, if pressed twice then all door opens. Thats in theory anyhow, my drivers door wont open with the fob?! If i put the key into the lock and turn it the locks operate correctly both the drivers door opening and all opening and closing. All the doors close ok for the fob.

Is this a worn actuator or a simple re-code job ?

i have the same problem with my rear doors. and from what i have been told on here it sounds like the acuator

Yeah, i am going to strip the door panel off for a browse and test like but thoguht a few brains on here may have idea's or fix's before stripping.

I have the same issue and have been told its the actuator, it's expensive and it is a pain of a DIY job (how much of that is true, I don't know)..........so i've left it and decided to call it a security feature!!

Yeah i was thinking a worn actuator to be honest. I'll leave it until it is that unbearable i have to repair it :)

Joys of owning a Landrover after years of reliable electrics with my L200.

The drivers locking works sometimes and now the NSR one doesn't seem to wont to open all the time either off the button, working all ok with key.

Got to love the key way of entering :)
