Having just bought a Y plate TD5 with the original radio/cassete player,i want to replace it with a radio/cd player(not multi changer) and would like some advice as to what wiring kit i would need for it to be compatible with the steering wheel controls. It currently has an Alpine system and i wouldnt mind if i had to replace it with another Alpine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as the guys at Halfords all seem to talk sh t.

It would be best if you went to a car hifi shop but if you know what you want the try the www and sites such a this. Autoleads PC99-X14 Land Rover Stalk Steering Wheel Interface Adaptor
