Cast alloy alternator bracket required for a 200 Tdi

A mate of mine is stranded in deepest darkest Wales with a snapped alternator bracket on his 200 Tdi lump, so obviously needs a replacement like pronto!

I believe I'm right in saying that it's the same bracket that holds the steering pump pulley. Can anyone help?

Yep, that info would probably go a long way to getting the help you need.

The same thing happend to me on Exmoor, if its a straight break right across a quick fix is in the middle, drill three 3mm holes close together 10mm in, make them into a slot and put jubilee clip around and tighten up, mine held until I got a second hand one for three weeks.
