Hello. Can someone tell me the length and width of the belt that runs from the PAS to the alternator pulley on a Discovery 200 Tdi engine?

There is sometimes a confusion between how many drive belts these engines have, so just to be clear, this one has two, one of which runs from the crank to the water pump to the PAS pulley, and one that runs from the PAS pulley to the alternator pulley (these are different lengths than on the 'high turbo' Defender 200 Tdi engine) - I need to know the dimensions of the short PAS to alternator belt.

Thank you.

I'm asking because it's going to take me a while to get a belt in the post, and I want to buy a belt locally that isn't OEM/specs but will fit and do the job. Can you tell me what size, width etc. of belt you got? I'm guessing that the issue you had was that the belt slipped/squealed. I know that if a replacement belt is more that a very little amount smaller, it will be impossible to thread between the pulleys. If you can tell me what I need, I'll be grateful, as I need my vehicle running again asap.

The 200 Tdi engine is also in a (1989) Defender NAD body.

Thank you.
