Can we have a 'Like' button?

why would you feel the need to agree/disagree with someones post?

So! The pictures are a depiction, a form, they're not meant to be real. They have character, unlike that amorphous pile 'o ****e (which I use to keep in touch with further flung family members and 'mates' .. not 'friends') you seem so enamoured of.

Do you use the ratings button?

Most php bulletin boards have it built it, I suspect we do also but it's not activated.

Basically, each user has a "reps" (reputation points) bar under their avatar. If you like a post of someone's, you can click an icon and rep them, and leave a comment that they can read in their profile. This adds to their points and the bar fills up. If you dislike their post, you can neg them (negative reps), likewise leave a disparaging comment, and detract from their reps. It's a lot of fun, especially when someone is just plain dumb and gets negged so much that their bar is in negative.

WTF is going on here? Has this place been taken over by the nerds & geeks or something? If I disagree with what someone posts, I will tell them, likewise if I like what they post I will do the same. If I think someone is being a complete knob, I will make my feelings clear. I don't need a little button or icon to do what I can do for myself, and much more eloquently.

coz some people can only type with 1 finger so by the time they have typed the word like the moment has passed and the comment is then irrelevent

so the like button will be usefull for the lazy fingered spakkers out there that just want their say in such a simple way

in my opinion the like / dislike buttons are just a way of someone using the mouse as a crutch probably the same peeps that spend all night watching porn on the interweb and self pleasuring so bad they have actually gone and bought a left handed mouse :smokin::smokin:
