Can I get decent disco for 2k?

Hi,

I am currently looking for some good shape disco somewhere around East London. There are some offers around 2000, but I am not really sure if I shouldn't save more money and buy something newer? (I was thinking about 8-10 old V8s). Any opinion?

i looked for about 2 months for my disco which i bought about 4 months ago i found it on auto trader as most of the other sites i looked at were abit steep and they were rust buckets got a nice disco 1 on a 96 plate,dont buy the auto trader mag as i found it rubbish go to there web site and look there as it updates daily but for 2 grand you my need to take someone who knows land rovers as there is alot of bangers out there that have been made to look good and will cost you an arm and leg to put right. anyway good hunting
