Can a Nanocom or Hawkeye read the output from the Internal temp sensoe

I'm thinking of buying one or other of these. I have a suspicion my internal temperature sensor may not be working. Can either of these devices read the current output of this sensor? It might just affect my decision as to which I buy (I'm tempted by the Nanocom).

do you hear it's fan working? ...cos if not the sensor will have erratic readings...a fault of that sensor(open or short circuit) would trigger a fault code in the aircon ECU and set default 25*C, run a manual self diagnostic procedure(attachment)... as the aircon has it's own diagnostic it's not covered by testers
