buying a landy what would you suggest

just a enquiry for you been talking to me mate who has a disco. have had a freelander in the past which was a pile of poo. looking at a defender 90. and a disco what would you suggest.

Depends what you want it to do really.

Had all 3 that you mention for varying amounts of time and can honestly say I've been happy with them all

Disco is a good all rounder

whats it for and whats your budget might help

mainly want to do green laning and all that stuff. had a freelander as i said was poo.

Our last Disco 200tdi had 260,000 on it

You can swear on here btw the technical term for the gaylander is ****ing useless

Have to agree with Matt disco is the best all rounder, my advice also would be take someone with you that knows about them when you are looking ok

Buy a Disco and learn to weld.

If its a V reg Disco, then it will be a D2, and at £1500 its CHEAP, TOO CHEAP !!. ( or a V8 ), ( even then its cheap ! ).

thought that myself had a look at the tekkra kangoo which i saw yesterday any good off a 02 plate 80k on the clock and 1800 squid

dont know if its a good off roader

It's not got a lot of clearence, although I know a couple of folk with them who love em... Can't see it being as good as a FL off road to be honest though - very small wheels and too low / to much stuff to snag etc. As said before if you want an all rounder, get a cheap Disco

ravs are good on light stuff, better than gaylanders

got ya point on the tekkra just missed out on a vitara pinnin saw it yesterday and went back for another look was sold so the disco is a best option
