Hi guys I've been thinking about selling my td5 and getting a discovery 3. What do yous think? Is there anything I should be aware of with them?
My td5 has caused me very little problem over the past 3 years I've owned it so iam a bit dubious but not wanting to start spending money on it.

DIII's are amazing vehicles, much better than D2's but they are more complicated.

They are much better on road, better mpg and equally as good off-road if not better, imho.

If I had the money I would have one (or a D 4) in a second.

As already said the D3 is a lovely vehicle to drive/ride in,just beware that the earlier ones have some complicated systems (they all have them but the early ones are 7 years or so old now) which can and do sometimes play up with some big costs involved in fixing them.

Outside of a manufacturers warranty they are a nightmare,a new customer called a couple of days ago who admitted to spending £6000 in repairs on his in the last year.I think thats too much.

I have a disco 3 its a 55 plate hse and all its ever cost me is bottom suspension arms wich it tends to eat but other than that its has been a great landy
