Business use and modifications

I think I can guess the answer to this, but thought I'd check first...

I've got a Disco 300TDi and RRC V8 that I was going to combine to become a RRC body with all Disco chassis (registered as Disco). This would then be my main vehicle, and the Series for weekends

The job I'm going for requires using your own vehicle and having business insurance. If I do the above, is there any remote possibility of getting business insurance on that or am I in cloud cuckoo land?

If that fails I'll have to repair the disco and run that instead

Mate if they would not let me with a snorkel you got no chance IMO

Both my vehicles are modified and yet I have had no problems with getting class1 business use on em.

Depends who you go with, some companies are better than others. Strangely, I have found that the ones who claim to be Land Rover specialists are actually the worst for insuring anything that is for business use, or is not exactly how it left the factory. For my insurance I went to a small, independant high street broker, who easily beat the quotes I was getting from the internet and other large companies.
