Good evening all i have had an airbag burst on the rear of my discovery, should i replace the airbag or do away with the airbags for coil springs ??? Paddock spares have a conversion kit for £55 plus VAT is this a good price or can any of you guys recommend a good supplier. Many thanks in advance;)

I'd stick with air that's why I have a D2, load it or tow with it and its always level. but like any part they system needs maintance, When I had a air bag blow I fully checked everything over and height sensors etc these looked corroded and the air bags looked the same age, so as soon as I could afford to I replaced both air bags and height sensors.

i dont tow anything heavy normally , I use it for transporting my dogs to and from shooting locations and some light off road driving

Swop it to coils, the cost of replacement compressors kills the defence of the SLS. I tow with mine and have no problems, with both SLS and ACE removed...
