My 1987 Land rover never came with bulkhead vents, its was the stock air-con verson. anyway, im getting a new dash installed and would love to have the land rover style vents.

Does anyone know where I can find the hole kit with every thing needed to install, thank you

Chris

Had a search and couldn't find - to be honest wouldn't be surprised if such a thing does not exist - can't see there being too much demand for it.

Wouldn't this require a bulkhead swap?

From the parts diagram (page 800) http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/parts_books/90/9_body_chassis_p794-923.pdf looks to be a manufactured one piece.

May be wrong - in fact probably am as they must have used the standard bulkhead for yours and somehow blanked the vents - can you put some piccys up?

Page 802 on the link gives the individual vent component part numbers which I guess you could buy separately (google search each part number) if no 'kits' exist - think the price will soon add up!

Not sure if you want these to be functional or cosmetic - if cosmetic, may be able to get away with fitting just the vents themselves without the internal controls etc.

It's alright, il already got enough holes in the bulkhead to keep it cool, I call them the avionic cooling ducts. Keeps my stereo cool!

Sorry it's been awhile since I posted, I have been in class. I will post a photo shortly. But what I have is a D90 V8 Sadi Arabian version. It came a stock aircon so it never had vents. That aircon is no longer working and due to lack or parts There is a small Aircon unit in the pass area

IIRC the aircon versions had plastic blanking plates , you should be able to retrofit to opening vents ? Does yours have the hinges welded to the bulkhead for the opening vents ?
