I have a 90 Soft Top which was originally a Pick Up, meaning it has the tub bulkhead behind the front seats.

I bought a genuine Land Rover Bulkhead Bar with brackets etc, as fitted to Stationwagons which I was going to fit. I have now had a change of plan and would like to fit the Mudrail type bar so as to retain a small amount of storage area behind the seats. Although the LR bar looks better and more substantial I do need somewhere to hide the jack and a tow rope.

If anyone has a Mudrail type bar and wishes to swap with this Land Rover bar, or if anyone local to Tring Herts wants to buy my bar for £110 then please let me know.

I guess most of you know that the reason for fitting a bar, however if not, it is to get more travel in the seats on their runners to get a more comfortable driving position. This bar can be fitted to pick ups, hard tops and soft tops.

My bar is as per this one (but new and unused):

What I am looking for as the same as this:

If anyone wants to swap or buy then let me know.

Not had any experience with the MUD version but dad has the LR version in his soft top 90. His rear hoodsticks are also a rollcage and this bar is bolted to that making it nice and strong. He's got a lockable box bolted in the floor as close to the bar as possible and that setup works well. theres also a mesh net going from the bar up to the seat backs to stop light things coming forward. sadly i can't find any pics and his 90 is 100 miles away atm :(

the bar works well though, i'm 5 foot 11 and can get the seat so far back i can't touch the pedals. :D
