Bugger!!

Things have been running well on the old girl for a while, or so I thought!
Just jumped in returning from the gymn, started her up and thought "that doesn't sound right".
I noticed that the battery light had come on also. I got home and saw that the bolt holding the power steering pump and belt tensioner had sheared off.
Gonna have to call the mechanic tomorrow, bugger.

Why not fix it yourself?

I don't have the time. Although I have the kit for removing the bolt I am working all weekend off Monday then on holiday for a couple of weeks.
I need it doing before I go away so the young Un can use it.

Even better tell the young un to Fix it or take the bus

Sorted, garage dropped radiator, extracted the remainder of the bolt put new one in and put it all back together for 30 quid.

How far did you drive home? If it was me I would have stopped straight away to investigate.
