Anyone who is having problems with BT just ask for the emergency responce team when they tell you wait 8 weeks for a fault to be fixed ....they will send this Landy full of bad English speaking Indians to slow your broadnand down even more .

Probably on the way to my house as we speAk

I lost te plot with them tonight ended up on the phone for an hour afterwards.- all prompted by them cutting me off saying i hadnt payed my bill (which is dd anyway)

Who says going berserk doesnt get results. Thats my 5th call this year about a fault- when the wind blows my internet cuts out and because my router connects/disconects so ofter i end up on throttled speed.

Im getting an engineer on thursday :)

Very best of British with that, mate!

We went so berserk, so many times, we have had three engineers this year, and more in previous times.

Service is still pretty poor anorl  Hope we are going to get a result soon

Ive told the. Wh t the problem is, and if they dont replace the cable to the pole ill remove the cable my self with the ladder then they will have to replace it.

The cables all cracked and waters getting in plus winds flexing it because its cracked.

My line cuts in and out.

We have been hassling for years about ours. The bull**** about rural broadband coverage really get on my wick

Yep totall , and your damned if you damned if you dont , you cant move to another provider because. The unbundled llu is crap.

When i first moved here 3 years ago i could stream apple tv movies ... Now i need to stream for 3 hours before i can watch a movie grr

My neighbours are on talk talk and sky and have never been able to stream movies ...but its cheap

BT still seem to have a bit more clout with Openreach as well! :)

LOL..........

seems you not alone.
were 6 miles plus from the exchange, and get crap service with whoever were with.
changed over to talktalk from AOL after 11 or more years as we were assured of a better service
after a week with TT we lost our home phone !!
internet was working just / at times.
went ballistic a few times so they routed our home phone through one of my mobiles - got incoming but still paying mobile rates for outgoing.
that lasted for over 6 days until it magically crackled into life again....
seems it stems from us being "rural" !!!
fracking rural my ass, but were 6 or more miles from the exchange.

OPEN REACH have installed the hi speed boxes, ran new underground cables to the poles but cant give me a date to connect 25 metres of cable !!!!

anyway, after a month of waiting for an engineer, we have a "brightspark" engineer coming monday.....lol

sparks will fly from his ass if he dont sort it all out.....

We have Virgin Media so no issues with distance from the exchange, etc.

Although the WiFi on the router is a bit rubbish

BT have perked up a bit in our neighbourhood since February when they did a 'fibre to the cabinet' installation. Before that, even though we're in town, it was pretty slow for an urban setting and kept cutting out. Now it's lovely - deep and crisp and even.

Tatctical comand unit? Is that when an asian swat team come to your house, doesnt understand your problem and then tells you theyre gonna charge you a fortune to fix it even though its their wire instead of the asians that do that over the phone?
