I was needing some help from fellow landy owners. I have a 2000 Freelander and lost key together with fob and have struggled ever since? The locksmith smashed the front door barrel lock to gain entry but now i cant use the EKA code to mobilise and start the engine. I have a new key that he cut but cant reprogramme a new fob as the alarm is still armed,or so i read? So, can i replace the barrel lock with separate key and use the same EKA code sequence or not?
