Bought a p38 around 8 mths ago now and slowly been doing it up and using a Maidstone based 4x4 land rover specalist for parts. ..every part I buy that has britpart on it has failed ..thermostat..hoses...gaskets..and now another viscous unit today...seriously ..how do they get away with selling broken or poor parts...now I've come to the conclusion. ..land rover oem parts only ..Anyone had much complaining to britpart themselves? ?

No never heard a bad word about them lol

Search ****part on ANY Land Rover forum and see for yourself. I use LRDirect as you can choose the manufacturer.

Me to, most of the but for my engine swap came from them (and turners) and all the bearmach bits that turned up were just re-stickered genuine parts.

I avoid ****part like the plague

Had a Land Rover 'Specialist' in Dumfries trying to tell me that wheel bearings in blue boxes were the best thing since sliced bread, and that they sold loads of them. They didn't seem too impressed when I said "Aye, you will sell loads, they're absolute sh*te and keep self destructing".

I don't bother going in there any more:p:p:p
