Britpart Clutches on Ebay!

Had anyone fitted and used the Britpart Clutches on a Defender?

Are they any good? I know Britpart have a reputation for some mediocre stuff though...

Anyone brave enough to admit if they've fitted such things to their lannie?

My old man fitted one, its conpletely nakered after 4 months and the release bearings making dodgy noises on mine after 6 months - we'll both be replacing with borg and beck

With a big job like a clutch your as well fitting genuine or oem parts. It will save you a lot of grief

i have one fitted, td5 110, 3 years and 35,000 miles and still going strong

I've fitted a britpart supplied one, but it was AP in the box!

18 months and counting on a disco 300tdi heavily abused off road by me and driven by my limp footed wife on road and all is well.

Likewise with my clutch, AP Driveline in a Britpart box with a Britpart price tag No complaints yet

Did it have a metal release bearing? britpart are the only ones that offer one now but I expect the borg and beck plastic one is better than the ****part metal one lol

****part do a heavy duty all metal and a standard plastic one, borg and beck now ap do plastic only although I don't think they make them, pretty sure the one I put in was timkin ? but came in the box as part of the kit, either way its better than ****part
