breather problems on a V8

hi their i'm new to all this but have always had range rovers i have got an old landy for playing with and dropped a V8 into it but im having problems with the oil breathers as i have put K&N filters on i have conected the breaters together as when they were open oil was being blown out but now they are closed the oil is blowing out the dip stick any info would be great thanks:confused:
 
there ment to be linked together one tube to one rocker cover the other goign to the other and make sure they arnt blocked mate
 
They must be open to the air in one way or another. If you simply join them together the pressure in the crank case will find another way out hence the dipstick erupting.

Normally they are fed back into the air intake but when we used to race a rover 3.5 we had a catch can arrangement which needed emptying every so often.

If they are blowing huge amounts of oil you have other issues with your engine. Worn rings are the normal culprits.
