My Disco still pulls to one side a bit when braking. The front near side disc feels hotter than the others after a drive so I presume this is the problem. Is it an easy diy or would I be better taking it in to a garage.

The side that it pulls towards should have the hot disc, is that so?

In that case the opposite side will probably have a stuck piston in the caliper.

Not a hugely big job, but does need the caliper stripping and repairing or a new caliper, plus bleeding the brakes afterwards.

All this is assuming that you haven't got any pad wear issues.

Thanks mate. Think I'll take it to my mates garage and let him get covered in oil and grease. Sand and cement is more my style. ;)

It's not a bad job to do, but if you're not into brake bits and the safety requirements of the job, then you're a wise man to let your mate do it. So many people have a go and often have big problems.

Not worth risking your neck for.
