Brake pads.........?

Went to fit my new shock bout an hour ago and realised that the pads have fallen out and started cutting in to the disc think person before may have fitted the wrong pads maybe as its done this both sides on rear

pads wearing thru caliper are a known problem on discoveries - it s a new disc/caliper/pad jobby.
