Hi all.

Changed my brake pads today as over the last few days there has been a grinding noise from the rear left wheel and had been pulling to the left. So wheel off retainers out, pulled out the outboard pad no problem. The inboard one wasnt shifting so tried pushing the piston away and it was seized. Anyway after 30 mins of struggaling with that. I got it out to find this

I'm thinking the inboard piston seized against the disk and over a few miles worn away. The pictures are of both disks on the rear left wheel.

Your thoughts?

yes definately siezed piston ,you can either replace pistons or calipers i would fit 2 new calipers ,you can get them for £40-£50,you need to replace both to keep brakes balanced

I managed to unsieze them. But I'll keep an eye on them. I don't really wanna be replacing the pads again soon.
