Morning, appreciate some help please. I had to fit a new front brake caliper to drivers side the other week, after doing this when braking hard it pulls to the left but feels like there is more braking power to that side, firstly I thought the caliper was faulty so got another sent. But after fitting this at the weekend it is still doing it again I bled the system cleaned slider bolts both sides and re-greased. I only fitted new disc pads, brake disc, new brake hoses all round and replaced brake fluid 5 mths ago. Thank you for any advice.

Did you replace the caliper on the other side at any point?
Did you bleed all the calipers?

The other side has been replaced, recently but not by myself. They are not same brand does that make a difference?
I did bleed all the calipers in sequence as per Manual. Thank you

If one caliper is stronger or weaker than the other, that may be causing the pull.
With such a safety critical part I would be replacing both at the same time and both of the same make

Fair Play I agree, I did not no the make of the one that had been fitted recently has no name etc, it was done whilst on holiday and not having tools etc to do it myself got a independent to do it.
Will get new ones ordered today. Thank you

Land Rover changed the D2s front caliper piston diameter during production to decrease the amount of front braking vs rear.
Did you get the correct part no. for your car year / VIN?

I just phoned up and told them I needed a front caliper for a 03 Model. Will know for next time thank you
