hi BOB,just to prove the point, took me rangy out for a drive today and guess what, the discs are perfectly round and true.no warping at all,bit graunchy till the rust on the disc surface wore of then no probs at all.:D:D:D:D;)

due to the atmospheric conditions and rust the fact you did not clean the discs up before use and got them hot has caused irrapareable damage to the surface of the disc as the contaminantes in the rust react with the pad and cause scoreing resulting in uneven pad wear and excvessive in ballance in pad contact between each caliper.

:D:D:D:D:p

thats what happens.noteably its the outside surfaces exposed to weather that are mostly worse in obvious cases.

it can result in bearing wear.small in differences are amplified alot in heavier vehicles and wear patterns may emerge.Look for slight blue lines in the disc surface or darkening lines indicateing pad faiiing by crumbleing..
:D

hi bob,i have my city and guilds in mech engineering so i know exactly how when and why a braking system works.i also have part city and guilds in welding, sheet metal work and blacksmithing,so i think i know exactly what happend to metal when left in an outside environment,as long as the brake pedal is pressed lightly on the first few hundred yards after a car has first been run after being stood for any length of time,NO DAMAGE will occur due tp the fact of ALL surface rust will be expelled from the disc surface.

my cousin who owned the rangie before i mullered it was one of them.Big dude.run ya down with a pack on easy.

been helping a mate study for his eletrical mechanical enginer he works on subs and transformers for power lines.quite intresting.might do that next...:D

what ever floats yer boat mate,i tried a open college degree but they saw what i had already got and said i had done more than their degree course so never took it up.:D:cool:
